How to create and submit CPE course proposal?

Before creating courses, uploading learning materials, and enabling student enrolments, training providers need to submit their CPE course proposals in ILM admin portal for CPE Programme Administrators to evaluate and approve.

To submit a CPE course proposal, go to Course > CPE course proposal. On the CPE course proposal page, click Create and refer to the following sections for instructions.

1.   In Step 1. Training provider details, provide the basic information of the training provider.

2.   Click Download CPE training proposal template to fill in. The finished file needs to be uploaded in a following step.

3.   Then, click Save and next to go to the next step.

4.   In Step 2. Course details, provide the information of staff related to the course, including Curriculum developer, Administrative officer, and Finance officer.

5.   Fill in information of the course.

6.   Provide Course description, Course objectives, update Course outline files, and add Course lecturers to the course. The lecturers can be added from the system address book.

7.   Click Save and next.

8.   In Step 3. CPE training proposal, drag or browse to upload the CPE training proposal template downloaded and completed in step 1 and click Save and next.

9.   In step 4, select the checkboxes to acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions configured for the CPE course proposal.

10. Click Submit. The proposal will be submitted to CPE Programme Administrators for evaluation.

Copy a proposal and submit

When multiple proposals need to be submitted for a same course or when information of a course proposal is similar to that of an existing one, instead of creating a new proposal by filling and uploading the information from scratch, training providers can copy the existing proposal to omit repetitive work.

To copy a proposal, complete the following steps:

1.   In Course > CPE course proposal, select a proposal that is not in the Draft status. The proposal can be found with the Status filter.

2.   Click Copy. A new proposal in the Draft status will be copied with the same course name, name of trainer/training organisation, and tier.

3.   Select the proposal and click Edit. The information in the draft proposal can be updated and submitted.
